My name is Jie Ma, I am a detail-oriented professional interpreter and translator with expertise in providing professional legal/business document translation, interpreting in legal proceedings of all kinds, and interpreting in business meetings and conferences, as well as audio/visual transcription services in Chinese and English. All delivered with quality you can rely upon.
I am a California Court Certified Mandarin Interpreter, and I regularly provide legal interpreting in court, arbitration, mediation, and discovery proceedings in California, Arizona, Nevada, Hawaii, and other States. I am also a Federal Court registered Mandarin interpreter, mainly serving the district courts for Northern, Central, and Southern California.
I am equipped with specialized bi-lingual knowledge of the US and Chinese legal terminology and concepts. I use my in-depth understanding of business processes, having translated documents and interpreted negotiations/meetings related to hundreds of M&A transactions, business negotiations, and complicated contracts. I use this experience to ease communication for law firms of all sizes (including between law firms and Chinese lawyers and between law firms and their Chinese clients), in court and arbitration proceedings, in other legal-related contexts, and in international businesses.
